Cedar Key Fish House among those petitioning for land amendments on Feb. 17
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in Room 166 of the Lecanto Government Complex.
The Freezer's audience has been set for 1 p.m. Bruce McLaughlin will seek a Comprehensive Plan Amendment/atlas amendment/planned development overlay on behalf of John and Joanne Lawson for the Cedar Key Fish House and Freezer Bar at 5590 S. Boulevard Drive, Homosassa.
Other requested amendments to the 2011 First Small Scale Cycle Amendments to the Citrus County Comprehensive Plan (Ord. No. 89-04) and Land Development Code Atlas will be:
- A Comprehensive Plan amendment/atlas amendment/planned development overlay from attorney Clark Stillwell for Halls River Development, Inc. at 10269 W. Halls River Road in Homosassa. The application is asking for a recreational resort with 30 cabins, a manager's cabin and a 3,000-square-foot restaurant.
- Foley and Lardner for Gulf to Lake Associates is requesting a Land Development Code (LDC) Atlas Amendment to change the land use designation on the Master Plan of Development for Pine Ridge Unit Two from Planned Residential Development District, which is Single-Family Residential to allow a YMCA and school, as well as a 90-unit single family subdivision. The property is described as a portion of Blocks 190, 194, and 197, and all of Blocks 191, 195, and 196 of Pine Ridge Unit Two. A complete legal description of the property is on file with the Land Development Division.
