Artist's sketch of man suspected of attempted robbery in Homosassa outside Love Motorsports on Feb. 16
The victim, a 31-year-old Citrus Springs woman, had been cleaning the business when she stepped outside with a trash bag by the door on the building’s west side. The call came in at 8:45 p.m.
The woman told deputies that an unknown white male had come from the south side of the building and pushed her up against the wall. He began going through her pockets, apparently looking for something to steal.
He didn’t get away with anything, but the woman was visibly shaken by the encounter.
She met with Citrus County Sheriff’s Office crime analysts, who developed a composite sketch of the alleged attacker.
He’s described as being a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds and with brown, medium-length hair. He was wearing a dark-colored zippered sweater and dirty, stained blue jeans. The victim noted that he had very few teeth and appeared to be dirty and unkempt.
